The Stories of Local Ambassadors: discover Fonti di Vino in San Casciano dei Bagni with Martina Ravazzi
A journey through the events and the people of Valdichiana Senese
With this new series dedicated to the Local Ambassadors, we want to tell the story of the events of the Valdichiana Senese through the voices of those who organize them, imagine them, and make them possible. People who, through their work and passion, help bring the territory to life and create experiences that engage both visitors and local communities.
The first episode takes us to San Casciano dei Bagni, where Martina Ravazzi tells the story of Fonti di Vino, an event that brings together wine, territory, and thermal wellness. An opportunity to meet local producers, discover the wines of this part of the Valdichiana Senese, and learn more about the stories behind every bottle.
The idea behind the event is simple yet meaningful: to create a moment of encounter between those who produce wine and those who wish to discover it, giving space to the stories of the producers and to the quality of the local wineries. Throughout the day, visitors will have the opportunity to taste wines from local producers and take part in moments dedicated to exploring the wine culture of the area.
Fonti di Vino is also an invitation to discover San Casciano dei Bagni and its unique heritage. The village is well known for its thermal waters and for the extraordinary archaeological discoveries made in recent years, which have brought to light one of the most important ancient votive sanctuaries in Italy. Those attending the event can therefore turn a wine tasting into a broader experience, visiting the archaeological site, relaxing in the thermal waters, or exploring the surrounding countryside through trekking routes or horseback excursions.
The event will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Casina delle Rose at Fonteverde Resort & Spa, where throughout the day visitors can enjoy tastings with local producers and guided masterclasses dedicated to discovering the wines of the territory.
