Via Lauretana

For 25 centuries, the Valdichiana Senese has been a melting pot of people, customs and civilizations. Paths of history and rich cultural heritage, the walks of the Valdichiana Senese are a permanent testimony of the past of this land and allow visitors to explore it a sustainable and slow way.

The Tuscan Via Lauretana is an old Etruscan-roman path between Siena and Cortona, crossing the some of the places of interest of Valdichiana Senese with final destination to the Holy House of Loreto (the Marche).

A spiritual path of about 115 km, to be experienced on foot, by bike or horseback-riding starting from Siena and crossing Asciano, Rapolano Terme, Sinalunga, Torrita di Siena and Montepulciano. A journey through places rich in art, culture and beautiful landscapes.
