In the historic center of Chiusi, photography is free, widespread and accessible to all. The Diaframmi Chiusi NoStop initiative brings the best of international photography to the town of the Etruscan king Porsenna, through a series of exhibitions dedicated to the great themes of contemporary life. Wars, discrimination, inequalities and the climate crisis are just some of the themes taken on in the different exhibitions, which involve various locations scattered throughout the historic centre. The objective of the project is to exhibit three photographic exhibitions per year that are stable, widespread, free and open to all at any time of the day.
"Obsolescenza" it's the title of the new exhibition dedicated to Enzo Ragazzini's work. Professional photographer since 1958, in 1996 Ragazzini published a black and white photographical book titled "Il bosco delle cose" (The wood of things) dedicated to the Guatelli Museum in Ozzano (province of Parma), famous for hosting a display of humble and daily objects. Today such photos find a privileged space in the historical centre of Chiusi, in an exhibition scheduled from 20th september 2024 to 28th february 2025.
