A weekend in the wine culture of Montepulciano, during one of the most awaited events in the wine sector: the Anteprima del Vino Nobile, which this year takes place from February 10 to 12.
The kermesse takes place, like every year, in the evocative location of the Fortezza, a building of military origin, erected in 1261. Two days in the Valdichiana Senese to get to know the wine culture of the area.
You will have the opportunity to visit a Montepulciano historic cellar, where you will taste both the Vino Rosso di Montepulciano DOC and the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG paired with a tasting plate of traditional products. Afterwards, a dinner in a typical restaurant during which you will be delighted with the dishes of the local tradition, will allow you to end the day in the best possible way.
The next day, you will be able to enter the Anteprima del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, to taste a preview of the productions of the Montepulciano area and the vintages on the market from this year.There will be more than 40 companies present at the kermesse with their own labels for tasting: it will therefore be an immersive experience in the wine world of Montepulciano.
