Montepulciano and Arezzo: the most beautiful Christmas markets in Central Italy

In the weeks before Christmas, the village of Montepulciano and the city of Arezzo host two of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Italy. From the 16 November Montepulciano and Arezzo will host the Santa Claus Village and the Tirolese Village, two events ideal for families and group travel. The lights illuminate the Renaissance palaces of Piazza Grande in Montepulciano and Arezzo giving an absolutely magical show; the villages warm the atmosphere with a rich proposal of food and wine and crafts. The Christmas markets are an opportunity to visit Tuscany in the winter and appreciate it from a whole different perspective.

The weekend offer in Tuscany for group travel

You will stay in a 4-star hotel 3km from the center of Arezzo in a double room with breakfast included. On Saturday you will visit Arezzo and the Tirolese Village, you will walk in the historic center between Piazza Grande, the Basilica of San Francesco, the Basilica of San Domenico, the Diocesan Museum of Sacred Art. The day will end with a dinner at a restaurant that offers typical Tuscan cuisine. On Sunday, after breakfast at the hotel, departure for Montepulciano. Once you arrive in the city of Poliziano, a visit to a historic cellar awaits you in the historic center where you can taste the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and the Rosso di Montepulciano accompanied by a platter of typical products. You will then have the whole day to visit Santa Claus Village and Santa Claus Castle.
