The relationship between Tuscany and craftsmanship is long-lived: the craftsmanship is today a value and a strong tradition in Tuscany and Valdichiana Senese. Strolling through the hamlets of Valdichiana Senese you discover the authentic value of Tuscan territory, you meet the artisans at work and participate to their creative workshop, you learn the passion behind the realization of an handmade object.
You can choose to visit three craft workshops on the basis of your interest: workshops of ceramics, metals and gold, wood, textiles, jewelry, terracotta and much more.
Not only manufacturing craftsmanship but also craftsmanship of taste. You will visit a winery and taste Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, but also you will see Chianina breeding and taste Chianina meat.

Program
Day 1
Arrival and check-in in an accommodation facility in Valdichiana Senese;
Visit of the first craft workshop choosing among workshops of ceramics, metals and gold, wood, textiles, jewelry, terracotta.
Day 2
Visit of the second craft workshop choosing among workshops of ceramics, metals and gold, wood, textiles, jewelry, terracotta.
Visit of a winery of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG. The producers will tell you their stories, methods of production, and the philosophy that is hidden behind every bottle. You will have a close look at a vineyard of Prugnolo Gentile and you will taste Vino Rosso di Montepulciano DOC and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, learning to recognize them and their uniqueness.
Day 3
Chianina Breed Tour: we will take you on a visit to a Chianina farm, where you will closely observe the beauty, the meekness and the grandeur of this magnificent animal with a white mantle. You will discover the history of the Chianina breed and its deep connection with this territory. Resistant, strong, tame, these beautiful animals have been the engine of agriculture in the Valdichiana before the arrival of agricultural machinery. Today their meat is considered one of the best in the world; the famous Florentine T-bone steak, for example, comes from the Chianina calves. After visiting the farm, you will taste the PGI Chianina meat with a tasting-lunch.

Cancellations arriving more than 7 days before arrival: 50% refund of the balance.
