Valdichiana Living proposes a unique journey in Tuscany on the track of Dante Alighieri and his Divina Commedia.
You will stay in Valdichiana Senese, the Italian wellness paradise in 2020. From here you will discover Inferno, Purgatorio e Paradiso during a six days stay in the heart of Tuscany.
The itinerary
You will descend to hell in the underground tunnels of Sinalunga. From here you will arise to the circle of greedy, where you will be tempted from the Chianina meat and the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, and then to the Purgatorio, where you will meet Ghino di Tacco, who will accompany you to the visit of Torrita di Siena.
The ascent to the Paradiso will be complete in Siena, Pia de’ Tolomei’s city. Here you will visit the Duomo Museum and the Gate of Heaven, that opens up to visitors a unique view above the Cathedral.
Then you will visit Florence, where Dante Alighieri was born. A guide will accompany you in the most significant places related to Dante: Cerchi and Donati’s towers, Dante’s house, the church of Santa Margherita where he met Beatrice for the first time, Signoria Square where Farinata degli Uberti lived but also Duomo Square with the baptistery of San Giovanni where Dante was baptized.
The offer includes a copy of “Divina Commedia- L'Inferno: illustrato da Simone Ginanneschi". Simone Ginanneschi draws graphics of Divina Commedia for Valdichiana Living.

Circle of greedy: Visit of a Chianina breeding farm and lunch with typical products of Chianina meat

We suggest you to explore Valdichiana Senese, its villages and beautiful landscapes. If you would like to relax you can visit the thermal pool of Fonteverde Luxury Spa in San Casciano dei Bagni. Please write to us to buy the entrance ticket.
