Christmas in Chiusi

Also for this Christmas, Chiusi is a place of great reception, with a month full of events for both children and adults. The events start  on Sunday, November 24 with the Santa Cecilia Concert, then enter the real Christmas atmosphere from the following Sunday. From 1 December until Christmas Eve, it will be possible to visit the Santa Claus House (Piazza Garibaldi, Chiusi Scalo) every day starting at 16:30. To this initiative,  the delicious Elves' cottages are added, open every weekend to delight the palates of children and parents. This dense program also includes workshops and entertainment of all kinds. It starts with the 9th of December with the Workshop "Create your own perfume" in collaboration with the Ape Contadina , and then continue with the "Workshop of golden spells" scheduled for December 17.  Shows of all kind are scheduled for the days of 8, 10, 14 and 21 December. There will be also initiatives proposed by the Civic Museum The Underground City as "A secret letter - Write to Santa Claus with the Etruscan alphabet" and "A special tree for Christmas - Artistic workshop with the techniques of engraving the Etruscans". On 31 December it’s the turn of "rWaiting for the new year", the party in the square with pyre, music and much more. The calendar closes with the Befana, with the legendary descent from the Tower of Piazza Duomo.
