Ring Trail "Le Colombelle" in Montepulciano
Admire the beauty of Montepulciano for 13 km
The ring trail begins and returns to the magnificent Temple of San Biagio where you can take a moment to observe the building built by Antonio da Sangallo the Elder from 1518 on the site where an ancient parish church stood.
From here you take the paved road downhill until you reach a crossroad, turning left you will find yourself in a white road that is Via delle Colombelle, the path winds for almost all on white road without vegetation cover. You will enjoy the typical views of our lands and unspoilt nature.
Continuing this path you can meet various wineries such as Tanagatta, Talosa and Icario. After a stretch uphill, turn right and you will arrive at the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, after which you can return to San Biagio.
